This question is the most asked question of all, but it is so important that I can’t answer it enough. A 1 minute video takes so time to make it’s worth and that is what matters. So I ask you to be sure to give your audience the most you can do and the highest value you can give. If you charge a small amount for a small length of a 1 minute video in good quality and that video is worth $0, why should you charge $15,000 for a much longer one? I always want a video which has maximum possible value for my audience.
“Why would anyone pay $15,000 for a video that’s $1,000 shorter?”
The answer is a simple one, and is this? To provide a better value to my audience. In order to make the best videos, I try to put a lot of effort into my videos and make them in the most economical way which will result in a better customer experience. The best reason to pay a small price for a shorter video is so that the person who actually views the video will be engaged with it. So try to make sure that the length of the content you put in the video is appropriate and the people who will get engaged. The more content you put in your video, the less likely you are to have your audience turn off and skip over it. In the meantime, I am paying extra for a video that is worth $5.
So how much should I charge for a video with 15 minutes of content?
So let’s take a look at that. This is what you should charge for a 1 minute video of 15 minutes or more.
For me, the answer is a mix of $0.99/minute as an example for a 15 minute video and $8.50/minute as an average video length. If you are in the market for a quick-response video, the answer is $99/minute as an average. When you make your decision on what to charge, keep in mind that not everyone is as willing to watch a 30 minute video. A good video can create a good experience for even the more impatient viewers as well as it can improve your own sales.
Why can I charge more than other businesses?
There are a few factors in the market that affect price and other businesses must follow them to stay relevant and to provide a good value to their customers. I am going to address a few of these below, but you should be
