First, you need to get in the game and start creating your idea, as long as this is an idea that interests you. If you don’t, don’t try to become an indie. If you do become an indie, then you are in for a long and difficult journey towards becoming one.
The good news is, the more you work on and enjoy your own ideas and work, the more your work will have value to others and the better you can earn.
This means that once you become an indie, I want to help you become one. So, when I see you at the next party or at an event I attend with an idea in mind, I ask you do you have any great idea for a film that you would think people would love? This is where you can have a big impact on others. I don’t necessarily need the ideas in order. The best films are the ones that are so good they sell themselves.
If you’re interested in becoming an indie filmmaker, here are a few tips that you can use to become one.

When I started out, I had an idea that I wanted to make a documentary that would examine how the world changes around us and would explore some of the key causes for that. So I set out to write a movie that would tell the story of what happened, how the world changed, and why! While the film isn’t finished, it is very much a work in progress.
If you already have an idea about a film you want to make, then start building on those ideas. As we mentioned earlier, a film can have many layers of ideas – everything from the film’s plot to the music it chooses to use, all the way to the special effects and filming techniques – and we can add more layers on to these ideas when creating a film before it begins production. However, you have to start with one idea and, if you are still not sure, think of what you would like to tell and what can we use as inspiration; it may be a short or a long story, or even a painting or a piece of music.
This may sound overwhelming but, when you start creating ideas like this, they don’t have to look just like other ideas. In fact, the more you go beyond a movie, the more potential your story has. Once you know what you want to tell and can say why it will be of interest, build on that, to create
