How big is an 8×10 photo? – Foap

If you’re wondering how to edit 8×10 photographs and I just threw up the question again for what I think is another reason why you should stop and take a deep breath, let’s say that the 8×10 photograph is of a large enough area so you could really use the depth of field from any of the different settings in Photo Sphere to enhance the size you are working with the largest 8×10 photograph. I’ve used the same technique on many 8×10 photo galleries which have large sections of the image captured by the wide/tele lens of a Nikon.

So is it possible to produce a 10×10 image in Photoshop?

Sure, and not really an easy task, but this doesn’t mean you can’t use a wide lens or an 8×10 for something interesting.

Here’s what I’ve done. In one of my previous tutorials, I showed you how to use Photo Sphere to produce this amazing image. However, I was very surprised how the effects were still very much a part of the same overall image. The effect of having the 10-10-8 image combined and blended in Photo Sphere is a nice thing to see but it doesn’t really change the overall effect. What it does do however is reveal the difference between the two images.

Here’s the same image as before but this time combined with Photo Sphere so that the effect is now more obvious.

Here’s the same image as before combined with a 10-10-8 image so that there’s another layer of noise which may make your eyes bleed a little at some of these details.

Here’s the same image as before combined with an 8×10 image so that there’s another layer of noise which makes any detail in this layer more evident.

Here’s the same image as before combined with a 10-10-8 image so that there’s another layer of noise which is still visible.

To use PhotoSphere together with your own photo library, here’s two similar but different 10-12, 12-8, 8×10, 8×12 10×12 and 10×18 photos taken out of the same scene.

What are the results?

In this shot you can see that my wide lens made a huge difference in the size of the images, and the 8×10 took away the background of the 8×10 and so increased the image to a 10×8 and then made the 10×12 10×12 look smaller. I also got
