When do Rover Service Contracts start?

For new Rover models with a warranty (not covered under a Road Safety claim) you can start your Rover Service Contract between the date of the warranty expiry date (usually 1 year after the warranty expiry date) and the delivery date.

For new Rover models with a service history you can start your Rover Service Contract after the date of the last service.

For current models you can start your Rover Service Contract with the delivery date.

You’ll need a car insurance cover to cover your Rover Service Contract.

What Rover Service Contracts means for me?

A Rover Service Contract covers the maintenance contract, so if you go to a garage to fix or check the car, we will only be charged for the repair.

If you buy Rover from us you’ll be entitled to a refund of the cost of that service, plus an exchange of services that is free of charge. The cost of this will be deducted from the price of your Rover.

You’ll get a full refund if your repairs are less than £5,000 but not more than £250,000 (to be decided by your insurer).

You’ll need to complete the service agreement you receive from us before you can claim any refund.

Note that if you do not use the service agreement, you must pay for repairs out of pocket.

In addition, it is advisable to have the service agreement with you as soon as possible after you sign up to your Rover Service Contract.

How do I start a Rover Service Contract?

You can start your Rover Service Contract online or you can start it once at a Road Safety claim.

For new and pre-owned models, select ‘Begin Service Contract’ from the ‘Vehicles’ menu option.

For current and Pre-owned models, select ‘Start the Rover Service Contract’ from the ‘Vehicles’ menu option at any time while viewing your vehicle.
